I don't believe it is on in the theaters anymore, and if it is, it is certainly overshadowed by the Christopher Nolan snorefest, "The Prestige".
I really enjoyed this movie, and not just because Jessica Biel doesn't over-act. It's a solid film, with another great performance from Edward Norton, and Paul Giamatti's best work since Sideways. It takes place in late 1800's Vienna, but it doesn't feel like a period peice. It has enough twist and turns to satisfy the M.Night crowd, and enough love story to please the ladies.
It was a great surprise for me, and I encourage everyone to see it.

the only things i did not like about this movie was: 1. the horrible accents and the lack of consistancy in them. 2. the soft glow they put on the film (has nothing to do with the story or acting) 3. the scene transitions. the director tried to make a statement with them i think... but they were not done well.
all other parts of this movie were really good. and yes, it was odd to see biel actually act. of course, she's nice enough eye-candy where she really didnt have to.

I loved this movie, watched it with my daughter a cpl weeks ago. I love movies that don't really tell you what's going on till the end for some reason, so this was good for me. I didn't have an issue with the accents, they weren't so bad that it stuck out for me.. other than maybe Ed Norton's.
I totally don't get Al's comment about it not feeling like a period piece though.. is that a bad thing? I love decently done period films.
